Deborah Leavens grew up in Mclean and received her B.A. with distinction from the University of Virginia and her M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. After completing her Family Practice Residency training at Fairfax Family Practice, she joined the Army in 1986. In addition to family medicine, Dr. Leavens is certified in geriatrics. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, cycling, traveling, and is active in her church.
