Marc Plescia, a native of New Jersey, attended Duke University, graduating with honors. He received his medical education at Rutgers Medical School, and completed his residency with the Fairfax Family Practice Center in 1986. Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Plescia has been named to one of the "Best Doctors in America" and Washingtonian's "Top 100 Doctors". A member of the varsity baseball team while at Duke, he once had a try out with the Philadelphia Phillies, and now enjoys golf and snow skiing. Dr. Plescia has special interests in preventative medicine and pediatrics. He resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and three daughters.
