Biography

Dr. Cooper has practiced family medicine with Herndon Family Medicine since completing his residency in 1998. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University. Dr. Cooper was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society during his 3rd year of medical school at the University of Maryland. He graduated cum laude from medical school. Dr. Cooper is also proud to have served as Academic Chief Resident during his final year of residency with Fairfax Family Practice. Dr. Cooper lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons. Although he no longer chases his sons (they are now way too fast), he enjoys spending time with them as they continue to grow and amaze their parents.
