+ What is the cancellation/missed appointment policy?
Patients must cancel a scheduled appointment 24 hours prior to
their appointment. Missed aapointments or appointments not cancelled 24 hours prior
to the appointment will be subject to the following fees:
Office Visit: $25.00
Physical: $50.00
Stress Test: $75.00
Dexascan: $75.00
Echocardiogram: $75.00
+ What should I bring to my appointment?
You should bring the following to every appointment:
Current Insurance Id Card
Photo Id
Insurance Co-payment
+ Do you have Saturday office hours?
Yes, but these appointments are for urgent
care only. Additionally, these appointments are reserved for established patients
and cannot be used for physicals or routine follow-up appointments.
+ It's been 6 months or more since my last appointment...
You will be asked up review/update your Patient Registration
information (including insurance information) upon your arrival. Please arrive
15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
How Long for...
+ Prescription Refills?
It generally takes between 2-3 business days for routine refill requests.
However, some prescriptions cannot be refilled without an office visit. Additionally, if it has
been more than 6 months since your last office visit you will be required to schedule an
appointment before your prescription(s) will be refilled. You can use our on-line
Refill Request service.
Please note we are no longer able to call or fax prescriptions to mail order pharmacies; we
apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
+ Referral Requests?
It takes between 3-5 business days to process a referral. Please let us know if
you are picking the referral up or if we need to mail it to your home address.
+ Lab Results?
It takes 7-10 business days for most lab work to come back. Pap smears
take approximately one month. You will be notified by phone or mail of your results.
Phone Calls
+ Is someone on-call 24 hours a day?
If this is a medical emergency or a life-threating situation, please
call 911 immeidately. Otherwise, you may leave a message for the on-call provider
using our office number: 703-481-1505. Leave a number where the provider can reach you
and you will be called back shortly.
+ Can I speak to a doctor during normal business hours?
If this is a medical emergency or a life-threating situation, please
call 911 immeidately.
Physicians and clinical staff are caring for patients throughout the day. Our clinical staff
will be making return phone calls throughout the day as well as after patient care.
Calling more than once for the same problem only delays the process of returning your message.
However, please call if there is a change in the patient's condition.
